How it works
Pick a project
A website, a game or a tool. No experience needed, a short tour gets you started.
Code in your browser
Nothing to install. A clock counts your coding time, and you can watch your Robux add up.
Ship it, get Robux
Put your project on the internet for real and a Hack Club reviewer checks it. Then keep building for more.
Made by Hack Club
Hack Club is a nonprofit that helps teenagers learn to code by building real things. Teens all over the world use it to make websites, games and hardware. Our whole thing is getting more teens making stuff, and Robux are a pretty good reason to start.
Who's paying for this?
Hack Club is funded by donors and by HCB. No ads, and nobody's selling your data. You put in the hours, Hack Club covers the Robux.
Questions
Is this a scam?
Fair question. Most “free Robux” sites are. We never ask for your password, Robux or money, and you can look us up at hackclub.com.
What's the catch?
You actually have to build something. That's the catch.
How many Robux do I get?
160 R$ for every hour you code, up to 800 R$ for your first project. After that, every project you ship keeps earning, with no limit.
When do I get my Robux?
After you ship your project, a real person checks it. That usually takes 2-3 days. Then your Robux are on their way.
Why do I need a Hack Club account and a GitHub account?
Hack Club verifies who you are. GitHub is where your code lives, so your project goes on the internet under your name, for real.
How old do I have to be?
You need to be between 13 and 18 years old to take part.
Can I use AI or copy-paste code?
No AI-generated code on your first project. That means no ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or any other AI tool, and no copy-pasting code. Write every line yourself. We want you to actually learn here.
Want to check with a parent first?
Totally fair. Send them loot.hackclub.com/for-parents. It has all the boring but important details.
